 Growing up in Southern California, Erin started playing the fiddle at the age of 11. A year later she saw the light and picked up the mandolin. 

Erin has been greatly blessed with some amazing teachers in her life such as classical duo-styleist Evan J. Marshall of Pasadena, CA and renowned bluegrass picker Jake Workman of Sandy,UT.

Erin has performed with the Brigham Young University International Folk Dance Ensemble band Mountain Strings for three seasons (2009-2012), touring and performing over a hundred shows all over the U.S. and Europe.


Erin also won 1st place in banjo at the 2010 Traditional Jazz Youth Band Festival in Sacramento, CA; played tenor banjo in the national student Emmy award winning composition of BYU animation's "Mashed"; has taught Folk Ensemble classes at BYU, including Mandolin and Bluegrass Ensemble; and recently took 1st place in state on mandolin and 2nd on banjo and guitar at the utah state fiddle competition of 2012. 

From 2013 to 2014, Erin worked for the Cordoba Music Group (Oxnard, CA), building their iconic Master series. Erin was known for her attention to detail along with being the only female to work there.
